When his kids were born, Ed read the books, searched the internet, and showed up to pediatrician visits with long lists of questions. He wanted to feel prepared for the most important job of his life. And like many parents, he still felt overwhelmed.

One appointment changed everything. A pediatrician answered question after question with calm, practical clarity built from years of experience. It was exactly what he needed. But by the time he reached the parking lot, he had already forgotten half of it.

His wife laughed. “We should have recorded that.”

Ed's career spans leadership roles across network television, healthcare, and digital platforms, where he worked alongside journalists, physicians, patients, and public figures to create content rooted in real expertise. He later served as CEO of a subscription streaming company launched by former CNN president Jon Klein and former NBCUniversal Television chairman Jeff Gaspin.
