This Privacy Policy explains how BabyWellMD, Inc. d/b/a uplitMD (“uplitMD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you access or use our websites, guides, video platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

  • App stores (Apple/Google purchase and subscription status if you subscribe through an app store)

  • Payment processors (for example, Stripe; and Apple/Google if applicable)

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers

These providers are authorized to process information only as necessary to provide services to us.

4. Health and Child-Related Information

uplitMD is an educational platform. We do not provide medical care and we do not want you to submit sensitive personal medical information through the Services.

  • Do not submit personal medical records, diagnoses, or identifying health details about yourself or a child through open text fields.
  • If the Services allow users to submit general questions for editorial planning, those submissions are intended to be general and non-identifying.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Targeted Advertising

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services and understand usage.

5.1 Types of Technologies We Use

  • Essential: required for account access and basic site functionality
  • Analytics: helps us understand how users interact with the Services
  • Marketing/Advertising: helps measure campaigns and (where used) show uplitMD ads on other sites

5.2 Your Choices

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If you block certain cookies, parts of the Services may not function properly.

Depending on your location, you may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising (sometimes referred to as “sharing” or “sale” under certain laws). We honor applicable opt-out requirements where required.

If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of certain targeted advertising activities where required by applicable law.

6. Email and Communications Preferences

When you create an account or subscribe, we may send you:

  • Transactional and service messages (receipts, account notices, security updates, changes to Terms/Policies)
  • Marketing messages (product announcements, educational updates, offers) if permitted

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link. You cannot opt out of essential service communications.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • provide the Services
  • maintain business records and comply with legal obligations
  • resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • support security, fraud prevention, and audit requirements

If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, and operational retention needs (for example, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention records).

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information (for example, encryption in transit such as SSL/TLS and access controls). However, no security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and using a strong password.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10.1 U.S. State Disclosures (Including California)

11. International Users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those locations may have data protection laws different from your jurisdiction.

Where required, we take steps designed to support lawful cross-border transfers.

12. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.
